In Nigeria,there's a tv soap called Tinsel,which i would have to say is a step up from all the crap tv shows we'v had over the years,as far as im concerned the only African tv show better is Jacobs Cross(dats bossy).....
There were auditions for Tinsel yesterday at a pace called SS lounge somewhere near megaplaza.Apparent they have new roles that need to be filled by non-celebrities(dat would be people lik me for the moment,but not for long sha.lol)!!!
Funny enough everytime i watch the show and i see some of the cast act,im lik "pssh i can do somuch better,they should just come and hire me"lol....and all of a sudden the opportunity arose,so i took it!!!!......
Either way eventually i got into the audition room,was sort of nervous initially and the guy hu was judging and things dint make me feel any better,he was black british and he was MEAN!!!!
The guy dat was meant to audition before me was about to start,he already had his phone out and was going to do a phone call scene,he had only said hello Mum before he was interrupted by the judge who just said flat out "i dont like yur face mahn get out"(british accent) at that point my blood had begun to stir.I was about to ask if it was my turn butbefore i could get out two words the judge told me to just shut up and sitdown till it was my turn....kai,well like an obedient son answering his father i just coded and sat down till it was well, my spot,my time to shine, you know my chosen moment,my moment of fame...anyone you like just choose one!!!!!!
There was a microphone above my head and a camera filming,the technical guys asked me to say my name,my age and then show them my profile.You know turn left let dem see d side view,right,forward,back all directions they wanted to see my MANLY MUSCLES.lol..So after they finished scoping me the guy asked me to act something for him,and i was thinkin about wat wud be original and well sumin iv done loads of times,and there it was(LIGHT BULB)i got it,breaking up with a girl...i was perfect at that nd iv done it so many times its just like you know one more time wunt killl!lol jokes tho!!!!so i got at it wif d fone,all d sincere looks(you know how i do it in real life...)and the guy stopped me halfway nd was like "i like you,yur gud" my inner child just came out,i was jumping in my mind asin dis horrible mean british guy just said he likes me!!!!i must hv made it...
den he asks if i play basketball,wat position,wer i liv and all dat...after a while i wasnt sure if i was auditioning or on a date...lmao.....EIDA WAI IT WAS QUITE AN EXPERIENCE,and my fone is perpetually near me,,,fingers crossed for that call 4rm TINSEL!!!!!
